Can't wait to watch Daredevil. I already know it's better than Arrow (which I don't really like anymore).

Call daredevil to show them how to really fight. He makes May look like a child when it comes to kicking ass....I'd rather be trained by STICK than SHIELD anyday haha

Hydra? I didn't realize they were still in play. Ward and Agent 33, or someone else?

Yeah, i was alright watching the first season of Agents Of Shield... while not the best it had a few good ideas and the Hydra reveal was pretty impressive.

Season two so far has been pretty boring to be honest, they killed off Daniel Whitehall too easily and too quickly rather than at the end of the series which they should have done. The Inhuman plotline and MCU refrences are too heavy handed and its bogged down with new characters that just are'nt interesting or likeable.

Agent Carter was a nice break from Agents Of Shield, but overall mediocre and told a story which we all knew how it was going to end. Part of the trouble of being set in the past in a universe that has already told all its stories meant that little suspense could be had for Agent Carter.

Daredevil (as of Episode 7) has just wiped the floor with all of them though to the point where i dont really want to watch Agents Of Shield because it so much more slower paced and less intriguing. The action, story, characters and direction are just tons better in Daredevil that i feel they should really just cancel Agents Of Shield after season 2... but i get the feeling they'll continue and it'll become a Civil War/Inhumans TV series or something.

Though even Daredevil appears to be suffering from the Inhumans/Civil War nonsense that is being forced into the shows. The episode 'Black Sky' introduces what is likely an 'Inhuman' child who is never really explained and the idea of everyone wearing a mask must automatically be evil is a very heavy handed way of introducing the prospect of Civil War. I feel when we get to Defenders that it'll ruin Daredevil's vibe of being a 'lone vigilante' even though he's in a world of Avengers.

The truth is reminding the audience that he lives in a world of Superheroes, Inhumans and heavy handed AoU/Civil War hints are what is weakening the show. This is the one time where continuity is ruining a good show.

Sorry if it wasnt clear my complaints about Agents Of Shield Season 2 are the following;

Agents of Shield is no longer about the Agents Of Shield and instead about the Inhumans. None of the Hydra or Shield aspects are interesting or even the focus in the show anymore so much so that their are people here questioning if Hydra is even a thing because they've been so lacking in the episodes. Its no longer Agents Of Shield and it doesnt have enough Inhuman action to be the Inhumans either.

I suppose the closest i can compare the show would be a prelude to Civil War with Inhumans elements. Yet i can only class it as such in the way that each episode we have a character worry about Inhumans or make a statement that the world is changing.

The refrences to the MCU are heavy handed rather than small nods and the refrences to the movies are hamfisted, something which Daredevil sadly also has (the lines about the machine uprising so close to Age Of Ultron)

The new characters are not interesting or developed enough for us to care about them either and rather than develop new characters to fit the different roles we instead have Simmons immediately turn 'anti-inhuman' for little real motivation.

I mean take the 'real shield' for example. Rather than the fact they are shield, they are just being used to push the idea of 'The Inhumans are dangerous' because they want Coulson out of power because of his actions believing him to be working with the aliens or something.

Once again, the motivations also dont make sense when they claim not to be an organisation founded on lies yet they compartmentalise and lie similar to coulson's team.

Olmos makes good points when you think about it, he's like Kingpin in a way its going to be hard to root against him when you know he's right.

It's funny how people have complained about AOS having little references to the MCU and no powered characters and now we are getting it...it is too heavy handed? It's a Marvel show. I want lots of MCU and powered characters.

Daredevil and aos, while connected and from the same universe, are two completely different beings... I enjoy both for different reasons. Same with arrow and flash. Two completely different shows, but I like things about both. If each shoe was the same as the other it would all be boring.

I didn't read the comments here. Is it possible atm to go to a Marvel article (or any article, really) without running into Daredevil spoilers? How are people behaving about this?

"The SHIELD Song"

When your with SHIELD your with SHIELD all the way,
From day 1 in the field, till your finally slain.

When your with SHIELD let them roll out the tanks,
You've got the Cavalalry here, your an Agent of rank.

You're never left to wander, never disconnected,
so when your undercover, just follow your directive.
Don't get detected.

Now your an Agent, with a capital A,
Which you'll never regret, HYDRA won't get away.

When your with SHIELD, You. Stay. With. SHIELD.

When your with SHIELD your the top spy in town,
flash your badge and you'll get, local lawmen to bow,

When your with SHIELD you've got gadgets to spare,
climb up the ranks till your top of the tier.

Agent, get yourself in gear,
check your Icers and gun-mags,
a breath to swallow fear,
Cause every HYDRA scumbag's,
Gonna regret their lousy comeback.

Here come SHIELD's Agents like some bats out of hell,
someone tries to betray us, it won't be a blank shell.

Here come the Agents, HYDRA's heads gonna fly,
slither back underground, better run, better hide.

We're drawin' the line so keep your noses hidden,
We're hangin' a sign, Neo-Nazis forbidden,
And we ain't kiddin'

Here come SHIELD's Agents, yeah, and we'll fatally damage,
Ev'ry last evil cult on the whole flarking planet.
On the whole Avengers-lovin' planet!

Note: This is a parody I created of The Jets Song from West Side Story.

@dethpillow Hmmm. Interesting. I haven't been reading the SHIELD comic but it looks interesting itself. I might have to check it out. Unfortunately, being where I live, I have to order comics online and unless I want to pay $25+ for shipping it takes 3 weeks to get here. I just finally got the second volume of Black Science and volume 1 of Woods. And I'm waiting on issues 10-12 for God Is Dead. The only Marvel comics I've committed to lately is Avengers/New Avengers. Next month I'm going to order Avengers World 16-20, which should all funnel into Secret Wars. I have my eye on the first volumes of new Hawkeye and Winter Soldier and volume 2 of Inhumans.
