It was
recently revealed that Marvel's long-running series
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere its sixth season in May, shortly after the release of
Avengers: Endgame.
Season 6 will feature a time-jump from the end of Season 5 and take place in a post-Phil Coulson world, with half of the team under the supervision of Director Mack on Earth and the other half in deep space searching for cryo Fitz. However, the Agents will encounter a big surprise with the arrival of 'Not Phil Coulson,' and the mystery of why this foe looks like their old friend will be one of the big storylines of the season.
