@ror
what's with comments like "the ever-improving Marvel TV series"? do you get a premium from ABC for these articles?

Yes.

Or, I actually think the show is ever-improving.

One of those two anyway.

*sigh*

I'm a fan, but I cringe when the show's writing stoops to Disney XD levels of cheese.

This is an hourlong TV drama, not a 30-minute cartoon for 7-year-olds.

I want more cheese. Can I get some better looking costumes and super powers?

LOL fair enough, but regardless of your motivation, it isn't exactly unbiased journalism (not that integrity is much of a focus on this site, nor would many call CBM news reporting journalism). Just a thought.
Otherwise Ror, I can't beef with your work ethic.

I really hope in the gag reel for season 1 they address Hill as "Agent Sparkles" or "Agent Scherbatsky" That would be awesome.

Coulson needs to realize that SHIELD is dead. You run a team of like five ppl dude. You're not bigger than what's happened all around you. Even Maria Hill realized this. Coulson, you and your team aren't the SHILED to protect humanity, the avengers are and Ben when shield existed Fury and Romanoff and Captain Rogers were the real shield that was on the front lines to protect he world. I'm sorry, sometimes Coulson gets annoying. Love this show. Fury accepted the loss and moved on back into the shadow world as did Romanoff. Shield will rise again but not now. I think Stark will fund it and he or Maria hill will direct it

I like this week's episode, ward and skye was the highlight... but overall it was decent episode.

This week's Arrow won me, DAMN!!! Oliver life is really screwed, I started feeling bad for the guy

Hang on, is Hill not working for Stark Industries now? That's something that also confused me at the end of this week's episode when May's mother tells her she's not the only one searching for Hill. Surely she's not playing hard to find if she took a job at Stark Industries? I'm curious as to the big cameo Chloe Bennett got excited about too. Surely she didn't mean Cobie Smulders or Sam Jackson? That's disappointing if she did because anyone could have predicted either one of them were likely to reappear. With this Talbot/military stuff, now would be the perfect time to have William Hurt do a guest spot as Ross.

@captainireland: The timeline isn't clear yet. Presumably this takes place before she applies to Stark Industries.

@ProfessorX Yeah, I suppose that's possible. I'm assuming next week's episode will make it more clear anyway.

Hasn't it been portrayed that Hill had a problem with the way Fury was doing things lately? I think that will come up in the conversation between Hill and Coulson.

The general consensus is that the show has vastly improved, I merely make mention of that. If I'd say "The next awesome episode of the best tv show ever!" then that'd be different.

The montage at the end of CAP2 could take place over weeks, whereas on AOS the events of each episode since the fall of SHIELD have only been a day or two (or even just hours) apart.

The continuity folks seem to be doing a pretty good job so far, but just like the comics I think we're not meant to tax our brains too hard trying to figure out how events in one story are placed chronologically with another.

I know this is more of a fanboy forum than investigative journalism, but why does it have to be? When would be a good time to cut out the bias? Or do we wait for another site to do it first?
It was just a thought.

And yes, I know it isn't just Ror at all, in fact, Ror is definitely one of the best posters on this site. It was just something I noticed on this article and happened to feel like commenting about it on this particular day.

And, on a different note, is it actually the general consenus that the show is improving? Or is that just the general consensus of those who haven't given up on it yet?

I'm waiting for it to improve. Which sucks because I want this show to do well. Have they renewed it for another season?

ABC renews the majority of their shows in May. Neither Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Castle, Once Upon a Time, Modern Family, or Scandal have been renewed.

Here's the link to ABC's list of programs and likelihood of renewal.
