Set photos have already confirmed that Wilson Bethel's Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter, aka Bullseye, will be getting an updated costume for season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, but it was difficult to make out the finer details of the suit.
Now, @variablelace has shared some new leaked photos (we're not sure where he's finding these, but they are legit), giving us a first look at the incredibly skilled assassin in his full season 2 costume - complete with a bullseye logo on his mask.
It's probably a bit of a stretch to call this outfit comic-accurate, but it's getting there!
"There are whole new avenues of Dex's interesting, messed-up psyche that we get to explore, and there's some really, really fun stuff that's on the way for Bullseye and Dex," Bethel teased in a recent interview. "I think the coolest Bullseye fight sequence that we have yet to see in the show is part of [Season 2], one that truly is f*cking awesome."
Bullseye wasn't actually part of Born Again prior to the creative overhaul, when it was decided to bring the villain back and make him the one responsible for Foggy Nelson's murder. In the season 1 finale, he sought revenge against Vanessa Fisk for manipulating him into carrying out the hit, but the Man Without Fear ended up taking the bullet.
There's been some speculation that Daredevil and Bullseye might join forces in season 2, but if these mortal enemies to decide to put their differences aside (possibly to stand against the Anti-Vigilante Task Force), you can bet the alliance will be short-lived.
The Devil of Hell's Kitchen will have some formidable back-up in his battle against Wilson Fisk's forces, as Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) will be joining the fight in season 2.
In Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
The show also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, with Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal. Dario Scardapane is on board as showrunner.
Episodes are directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd; and executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Dario Scardapane, Christopher Ord & Matthew Corman, and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead.
