“Marvel’s Daredevil” is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.


Starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and more, Daredevil will premiere on Netflix on April 10th. What do you guys think about this latest look at the series?

I love that it seems balanced and has the right tone for the right scene, like that fight was brutal and serious while them having dinner was more lighter/regular.

@Bodwulf - it wobbles only when the fight is done and DD falls to the ground. Other wise its solid shots but with quick editing.

The bad fights are in Bourne sequels, Alex Cross or any other expensive movies that somehow can shot a good fight with hundreds of millions in a budget while $5 mil. Action straight to DVD films do amazing stuff.

So, I feel ya, kinda sick of that myself but Daredevil wasn't wobbling till he felt. So, all good yet.

And it's TV so, handy cam is very expected since its faster to shot and on TV schedule its perfect. Also, they want the Wire feel to it so it make sense.

In the end all that matters is can we see the moves, and we do see them. So, I am not worried. I am worried about expensive movies though. Because I can't understand why $200 mil. Movie has shitty fights while cheapest action flicks on DVD have Excelent ones.

btw guys, I'm pretty sure Drew Goddard wrote the awesome dialogue on the foggy, Karen, and Matt clip(and the fight scene), so regardless of his ties to sony he could've made a great movie for them, but a collaboration between Marvel and him is even better. Lets all hope he gets the gig for Spidey!

I feel bad for the person whose job it was to remove all the reflections of the crew etc from Matt's glasses in post production.

Also, holy shit [frick] is it Friday yet? I am literally coming home from work tomorrow, eating dinner and going to bed. I wouldn't be able to stay up til 3AM, but I sure as hell am waking up at dawn!

I love the brutality....no half as sing anything, that fight seemed rough and visceral. Love it. I love the contrast of Matt as lawyer and Matt as DD. Nice and warm as Matt by day and brutal as [frick] as DD.

@KurtWagner1225 Yeah, it is a bit different looking than I expected (looks a bit more armor-like), but I think it looks pretty good! I'm also hoping the DD symbol is on the chest
