Daredevil season 2 premiered this weekend to rave reviews and actor Charlie Cox is already thinking about the future.  Should Daredevil return for a season 3 ahead of The Defenders, Cox thinks it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring in the archenemy of the Man Without Fear, Bullseye.

"If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can’t imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn’t show up at some point.  It would be great to have him around at some point.  Who would play that part I have no idea but I just think there’s such an interesting, rich character there, and also of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic. When you read the comics it’s etched in a Daredevil memory all that stuff."

However, Cox also stated that he would love to see the return of his season 1 adversary, Vincent D’Onofrio.  As Cox pointed out, there's still a ton of Kingpin-Daredevil related storylines that could be told in future seasons.

"I’d love us to explore more of the Wilson Fisk stuff. It’d be great if at some point Vincent D’Onofrio would come back for a season. There’s so much Daredevil-Wilson Fisk left untold. As he really came into his own, as Wilson Fisk turned into the Kingpin at the end of season one, I’d love to see what that now does to the Daredevil-Fisk dynamic going forward if we were to do a season 3 or 4."

Who would you like to see Daredevil fight next - Bullseye, Kingpin, maybe even Typhoid Mary? Sound off in the comment section below with your pick and let us know what you thought of season 2.

@blackandyellow - Save "Born Again" for season 4. Let the cat and mouse game between Bullseye and Daredevil dominate all of Season 3. You still need for Kingpin to hire Bullseye to have him assassinate his rivals while he's behind bars rebuilding his criminal empire. You also need Bullseye to push Karen Page to the brink of suicide that will have her on heroine so Kingpin can learn about Matt's identity for Born Again in season 4.

Still watching S2 but the fall of Karen Page will be amazing if they choose to follow that story line.

SPOILERS

Bullseye should kill Karen Page. Not that I want her character done away with (Woll does a fantastic job), but it would be a real kick in the balls, especially since they've already dispensed with the Elektra plotline. Yes, Elektra could come back, but her death wouldn't have the necessary weight if she's already died and come back.

What happened to Vincent Piazza's role? I hope he's Bullseye, and he's being saved for next season. He makes a great villain.

@BestAtWhatIDo - I don't want her killed until after Born Again at the very least. She has to be the one who betrays Matt's true identity to the Kingpin.

@BestAtWhatIDo - What if they kill Foggy instead?

Was the redhead chick with Nobu supposed to be Typhoid Mary? Entirely possible I missed her name. But I was like "This is fakeass Typhoid Mary, why not just do the real thing?"

@SpideySupes94 - Kingpin as a secondary villain in the Spider-man solo film, prompting him to team up with Daredevil to take Fisk down in DD season 3. Impossible but it would be so awesome

@SpideySupes94 - I think its very doable to see Wilson Fisk appear as the Kingpin in a Spider Man film down the road.
