We found out late last year that former Game of Thrones actor Harry Lloyd had joined the cast of
Legion season 3 as a younger take on Professor X, and we get another look at the future leader of the X-Men using (building?) Cerebro in this new promo.
The previously
released trailer strongly hinted that this final season would lean heavily into time-travel, as David Haller's former friends attempt to stop the now highly unstable mutant from using his omega-level powers to bring about the end of the world.
Haller, who now appears to be some sort of cult leader, still maintains that he's the hero of the story, but Syd, Kerry, Cary, Ptonomy - who seems to have a new robot body - and The Shadow King see things very differently.
What part will Charles Xavier play? We'll find out when the critically acclaimed
X-Men spin-off returns on June 24.
