Though nobody came out with the name, tonight's installment of FX's Legion made it very clear that David Haller is indeed the son of Charles Xavier, as we finally learned the truth about his adoption, as well as the evil parasitic entity that's attempting to leech off his power.

With Oliver's help, the gang managed to escape The Shadow King's clutches - but just as all seemed fine and dandy, the remnants of Division 3 burst in with lethal intentions.

The promo for the season finale, "Chapter 8", hints that the newly confident David is going to be able to handle the situation, but it also looks like some of his fellow mutants are going to be a little wary of just how powerful he's becoming.

You know, this show keeps threatening to get too far up its own ass, and on paper that chalkboard thing was a good idea but it was still a massive awkward exposition dump.

If it weren't so stylish and effective, people wouldn't love it so much. Good thing it is this stylish and effective.
