MARVEL COMICS Legend Stan Lee Has Been Rushed To Hospital, But Is Reportedly In Stable Condition
Comic book legend and former Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief Stan Lee experienced a minor health scare earlier this week, prompting him to be rushed to the hospital tonight, where he still remains....
Earlier today, it was reported that Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee would not be making an appearance at Wizard World St. Louis (WWSTL) due to "complications with his health" and now, TMZ has learned that Lee was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night after falling ill at home.
Citing sources close to the comic book legend, TMZ reports that "Lee was taken to Cedars-Sinai Wednesday night after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat." The celebrity news website claims that he is still in the hospital (as of Thursday evening), but in stable condition.
Lee, who turned 95 in December, was forced to cancel appearances at two major conventions last year for an illness, though he never revealed the specifics.
Prior to falling ill, Lee attended the Hollywood premiere of Marvel's Black Panther on Monday night (Jan. 29) - his first public appearance on a red carpet since allegations of sexual misconduct were levied against him in early January. Lee, who has denied the accusations, was reportedly "upbeat" during the premiere.
Hopefully, Lee makes a full recovery so that we can enjoy many more years with the comic book legend.
