It's been a little while since we've seen anything from Play Station Network's Powers, with the show not due to air until winter 2015. However, executive producer (and co-creator of the original comic series) Brian Michael Bendis recently revealed a new image on his Tumblr account. It features another look at the main cast of the show - seen here all together for the first time.
Left-to-right: Retro Girl (Michelle Forbes), Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley), Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward), Calista (Olesya Rulin), Wolfe (Eddie Izzard) and Johnny Royale (Noah Taylor).
It's certainly an impressive ensemble. District 9's Sharlto Copley is undoubtedly 'the star' of the piece, but both Ezzie Izzard & Noah Taylor have turned heads recently - the latter having impressed on Game Of Thrones. What d'you guys think of the cast? Let us know in the comments below.
"Powers," an edgy dramatic series from Sony Pictures Television and inspired by the graphic novel series of the same name, follows the lives of two homicide detectives, Christian Walker (Copley) and Deena Pilgrim (Heyward), who are assigned to investigate cases involving people with extraordinary abilities, referred to as “Powers.” Set amidst today’s paparazzi culture, Powers asks the questions, what if the world was full of superheroes who aren’t actually heroic at all? What if all that power was just one more excuse for mischief, mayhem, murder, and endorsement deals? Enter the men and women of the Powers Division, the only people brave enough to go up against the overpaid, commercialized, superhumans who glide through the sky imposing their power over the crowds below who both worship and fear them.
