That's Gotta Hurt! More Photos Of Krysten Ritter On The Set Of A.K.A. JESSICA JONES

Daredevil has already been renewed for a second season after becoming one of the most successful Netflix shows of all-time, so why do we still not have so much as a single official still from A.K.A. Jessica Jones? Whatever the answer, at least you have these cool new set photos...

Thanks to Mail Online, we have more photo from the set of A.K.A. Jessica Jones as the titular hero (played by Breaking Bad's Krysten Ritter) continues looking more than a little beaten up. As the series is set to premiere on Netflix later this year, hopefully Marvel will start promoting it soon as we still know very little about the direction it will take with the character. Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check. More images from the series can be found by clicking below.

Less than glamorous: The actress was shot in a pile of rubbish with a less than glamorous appearance

Bedraggled: Her clothes featured nasty tears with blood underneath

Superhero: The actress will star alongside David Tenant in the new 2015 release

Not so super now: Krysten plays ex-superhero Jessica Jones, though her appearance was less than super on set for the Netflix original series
