VisionQuest Episode Titles Revealed As Paul Bettany Addresses Vision's Possible Avengers: Doomsday Return

Marvel Studios has revealed the episode titles for VisionQuest, confirming that the Disney+ series will premiere earlier than expected tomorrow at 6 pm ET. Previously, the show was scheduled to arrive at 12 am on October 14.

The episode titles don't tell us much, but they're certainly interesting: "No Strings," "Theseus," "Reboot," "Malware," "Firewall," "Deadlock," "Immolation," and "Forever/End."

Will VisionQuest set the stage for this December's Avengers: Doomsday? It's the final MCU project before that movie arrives in theaters, and Paul Bettany has inevitably been asked about whether he'll assemble with the rest of the heroes set to battle Doctor Doom.

Good Morning America put the question to the actor, and he replied, "I’m just trying to keep the kids in shoes, and if I tell you that, I’ll get fired. I’m just out there hustling."

In a separate conversation with GamesRadar+, Bettany continued to dodge the question when he said, "That’s for Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito to decide." Even if he doesn't show up in Avengers: Doomsday, there's a very good chance we'll see Vision take centre stage in next year's Avengers: Secret Wars.

Check out a new promo for VisionQuest in the X post below, and check back here later for our review of all eight episodes.

In VisionQuest, Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponise him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron.

His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision's son, reincarnated. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron's influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.

VisionQuest stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T'Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, with Emily Hampshire and James D'Arcy.

VisionQuest is created for television by Terry Matalas, based on the Marvel Comics. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, Terry Matalas, Jac Schaeffer, and Christopher J. Byrne, and the producer is Roopesh Parekh.

The series premieres on Disney+ on October 14.

Always down for more sci-fi-focused Marvel projects. Hyped for it.

The only reason I'm thinking this series could do well is because Terry Matalas is the showrunner. He did a great job on Picard S3 and I'm hopeful he'll work that same magic here.

Still bugs me that Paul Bettany's name isn't in the Endgame credits

Vision has been one of the best CB character adaptations yet. His back to back death scenes are prime MCU. Bettany is almost perfect in the role

If vision and his kids survive secret wars, I imagine a kang storyline returning via iron lad and the young avengers.

Look, reactions from Josh on an MCU project is completely positive and, oh! there's no negative "catch."

Cool. Could be a day to purchase a lotto ticket the chances were so slim. It's amazing. I can't help from knocking furniture over I'm celebrating so hard.

What a wonderful world.

@lazlodaytona - My only negative with VisionQuest is that I'd have liked a little more Vision in his android form. Otherwise, it's flawless. Unlike Lanterns, it understands and respects its characters.

@lazlodaytona - No worries. Just relieved I could wash away the terrible taste left by that insult to superhero television. 😉

Wilding absolutely glazed Fantastic Four and Daredevil so I won't get my hopes up too much. Although Wonder Man was exceptional so you never know.
