What If? is one of the most exciting Marvel Studios TV shows coming to Disney+ next year, and as the studio's first animated project, it may very well be one of their most ambitious.
Previewing their 2021 slate (find more on that by clicking here), Disney has shared a new image from the series that we think you guys will appreciate. As you can see below, it features a new look at Jeffrey Wright's Uatu the Watcher. He'll be the narrator of this series which promises to explore the Marvel Multiverse by asking a number of "what if?" questions about what might have been.
A new synopsis has also been released, which reads: "'What If…?' flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways."
"Coming to Disney+ in summer 2021, Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. The series is directed by Bryan Andrews; Ashley Bradley is head writer."
If Andrews' name is familiar, it's because he's served as a storyboard artist on everything from Iron Man 2 to Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Endgame.
