What If...? proved to be a little more divisive among fans than expected, but if there's one thing it seems everyone can agree on, it's that Hayley Atwell's Captain Carter is a worthy addition to the MCU.

In the season finale, we caught up with Peggy in the present day on that same mission Steve Rogers embarked on at the start of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Decked out in a Stealth Suit, the hero looked undeniably badass, and we now have a closer look at that design thanks to upcoming Marvel Legends toy packaging.

During a recent interview with Kotaku, What If...? Head Writer A.C. Bradley reflected on the character's creation. "I was very happily surprised about Marvel not only allowing me to write such a feminist story, but wholeheartedly encouraging it," she said. "But I’m so happy, and so honoured, that people like my version of Captain Carter, and that she resonated!"

As for what's next for the character, we know she'll return in season 2 of What If...?, but Bradley is optimistic about what might lie beyond that. "If they make a Captain Carter movie...hell, I’ll be there day one." Rumours continue to persist that we'll see the British superhero in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, though time will obviously tell on that front.

Check out this new look at Captain Carter in her Stealth costume below:

I want bond to do a film with the captain, but it'll never happen.

I've just watched the first episode and... look, I love Hayley Atwell. Period. I'm a soft sell here.

Not sure I really cared for the episode much, nor do I really enjoy the animation style and vibe of the show. But I love Hayley Atwell.

Did I mention that I love Hayley Atwell? Well, I do.

The changes to her suit were simple but enough to make her stand out a little bit more. If she's introduced in live action this is a design I wouldn't mind they kept for it.
