We thought we might get a first look at some footage from Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop series during "Geeked Week," and though there was no sign of a proper teaser (hey, the week's not over yet!), the streamer did share some exciting updates.

The promo below features main cast members John Cho (Spike Spiegel), Mustafa Shakir (Jet Black), and Daniella Pineda (Faye Valentine) jamming out to the anime's iconic opening theme, "Tank." Though they don't appear to be in full costume as their respective characters, Netflix has confirmed that Cho is sporting his "Spike hair" here.

We also have confirmation that the show is set to premiere this Fall (no exact date, unfortunately), and that anime composer Yoka Kano, who has worked on the likes of Vision of Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, Turn A Gundam, Macross Plus, and more, will be creating the soundtrack.

Cowboy Bebop will be exec produced and written by Christopher Yost (Thor), who will also serve as showrunner along with Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio; Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios; Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, and Shin Sasaki of Sunrise Inc.

The original anime's director Shinichiro Watanabe is on board as a consultant.
