The first trailer for Netflix's Fate: The Winx Saga is now online, and it looks like it should be a fun fantasy adventure.
The six-part series is a live-action adaptation of popular 2000 Italian cartoon Winx Club, and follows five fairy friends as the arrive at Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.
Bloom is played by Chilling Adventure of Sabrina’s Abigail Cowen, and the cast also includes Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Eliot Salt as Terra, Elisha Applebaum as Musa, Sadie Soverall as Beatrix, Freddie Thorp as Riven, Danny Griffin as Sky, Theo Graham as Dane, and Jacob Dudman as Sam.
The Vampire Diaries writer Brian Young is on board as showrunner for the series, which was filmed entirely on location in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
