AHSOKA: Potentially Major Spoilers For Next Week's Episode Tease Plenty Of Surprises

This week's episode of Ahsoka had everyone talking, but if this new info proves to be accurate, next Tuesday's fifth instalment is going to blow it out of the water...

This week's episode of Ahsoka is being hailed as the best of the four we've seen so far, but if recent reports are to be believed, next Tuesday's instalment, which has been described as an "absolute game changer," could well surpass it.

Towards the end of "Fallen Jedi," Ahsoka Tano was defeated by Bayan Skoll, seemingly perishing when she fell from a very high a cliff into the stormy seas below. However, in the final moments of the episode, the former Jedi awakens in what has now been confirmed as the World Between Worlds (something akin to purgatory for Force-users), where she encounters her former master, Anakin Skywalker.

Potentially major spoilers ahead!

Previous rumors have claimed that Ahsoka will ultimately engage in a lightsaber duel with Skywalker on Mustafar in some sort of alternate reality retelling of the final battle from Revenge of the Sith, but it sounds like there may be a lot more to the episode.

According to Bespin Bulletin's sources, the untitled episode will also feature a flashback to the events of The Clone Wars animated series, and explore the relationship between Anakin and "Snips" during this time. Apparently, Hayden Christensen filmed scenes in his Clone Wars armor, and it sounds like we may even get a live-action recreation of the Battle of Ryloth.

There have also been whispers of a full-on Darth Vader appearance, which really wouldn't be too surprising since we know already Anakin is involved.

In addition, The Book of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison is rumored to appear, most likely playing Captain Rex for these Clone Wars-set sequences.

It's all very exciting stuff, and while we'll have to treat all of this as rumor for the time being, it is worth noting that the source has shared quite a bit of accurate Ahsoka (along with various other Star Wars projects) info in the past.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

The series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Kevin Kiner was announced as the series' composer.

Ahoska is written by executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside executive producers Favreau, Kennedy, Wilson, and Beck. Gilchrist is co-executive producer. The series’ directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.

Looking forward to it. I hold my breath as to what the prognosticators are saying the episode will be. People speculated that Marrok was 5 different [frick]ing Jedi and all he ended up being was a bag of powder from a Holi festival

@WhatIfRickJames - I did think it would have been a cool twist if it was Ezra, but obviously wouldn't have made much sense if he'd somehow managed to return and Thrawn hadn't.

How could something that isn’t actually happening in the real world be a game changer?

@supermanrex - Fake deaths and dream worlds are stupid anyway. Just sounds like Star Wars is further jumping the shark here.

"something akin to purgatory for Force-users"?
Welp... it's pretty obvious that Mark Cassidy has no clue about the World Between Worlds and shouldn't be writing an article about Star Wars.

@KindredMac - While that hasn't been established in canon yet, I'd wager that's where they're taking it. It would provide a justification for why the WBW exists, while also answering the classic question of "Where do Force Ghosts go when they're not helping Jedi along their respective paths.
