These have been a long time coming, but Funko has finally revealed the next wave of Pops based on The Mandalorian season 2. As expected, these are a little more spoilery than previous efforts and primarily based on specific moments from the first live-action Star Wars series on Disney+.
We have Frog Lady from Peyton Reed's second episode, and Timothy Olyphant's Cobb Vanth both with and without Boba Fett's helmet. Talking of the bounty hunter, an unmasked version of the classic Star Wars character is also going to be available once these start to arrive in stores (the unmasked Marshal, however, is going to be a hard-to-find "Chase" variant).
We're also getting Fennec Shand, Luke Skywalker holding Grogu during his surprise appearance in the season finale, Din Djarin wielding that Beskar spear, and a Dark Trooper making off with The Child.
The highlights, however, have to be the two deluxe Pops. One shows Grogu meditating (little did we know at the time he'd found a connection through the Force with Luke), while the other features a recreation of that memorable final shot in the post-credits scene. It set the stage for The Book of Boba Fett to be released on Disney+ later this year, and that's a show we hope to learn more about soon.
