Last month, I reported on here that the MMO DC Universe Online will be going free to play at the end of October, now we have an exact date. During the latest DCUO developer live cast, Sony Online Entertainment announced it will be released as Free-to-Play next week on November 1st.
Free Play does have its limitations though, players will still be required to buy DLC's if they wish to have access to more items, raids e.t.c. Player Leagues, mail and vault are also slightly limited.
Spending $5 or more in the online store will allow the players to upgrade their account to Premium, which features less limitations. alternatively you could still pay $14.99/month for the legendary plan, which has everything unlocked as well as Free access to DLC's as they become available.
I myself am looking forward to playing this, anyone else thinking about playing?
