Fallout Season 2 will premiere on December 17, with the eight-episode season rolling out with one new episode weekly until the season finale on February 4, 2026. As we get closer to the show's long-awaited return, four new posters have just risen from the Prime Video bunker (via GameFragger.com).

They put the spotlight on Lucy (Ella Purnell), the Ghoul (Waton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and everyone's favourite pooch, Dogmeat.

Each character is surrounded by some classic New Vegas imagery that's bound to be familiar to gamers. A shift to the ruined remains of Las Vegas isn't something we expected to see until much further down the line, so Season 2 is shaping up to be incredibly exciting for fans.

The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Fallout Season 1's epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Fallout is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. To date, Fallout Season 1 has amassed more than 100 million viewers worldwide, ranking among the service's top three most-watched titles ever.

The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys).

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

In May, it was confirmed that Fallout will eventually return for a third season. "The holidays came a little early this year - we are thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of Fallout," executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy said at the time.

"On behalf of our brilliant cast and crew, our showrunners Geneva and Graham, and our partners at Bethesda, we’re grateful to our incredible collaborators at Amazon MGM Studios and to the amazing fans as we continue our adventures in the wasteland together."

Fallout showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner added, "We’re so grateful to have survived the apocalypse for another season! Thanks to the incredible team — our whole cast and crew, Kilter, and Amazon."

I had my issues with the first season but I hope they’re just growing pains. The humor didn’t hit for me, way too indulgently irreverent and crass for its own sake. Season 2 looks like a step up at least, especially for the ghoul and creature designs. Got my fingers crossed for something good!

Season one was fantastic, I look forward to seeing Macaulay Culkin chew up every scene he's in

@bobevanz - Macaulay is in season 2? I loved the first season and am definitely looking forward to the second, so the idea of him being in it is very intriguing.
