Not bad. Would prefer to see the helmet as well but I think this look is kid friendly.

Why don't they have his cool helmet? It's like taking off Iron Man or Spider-man's mask it's the most iconic thing about him.

Its actually closer to his original helmet. That "iconic" helmet was pretty much only used for Abnett + Lanning's series.
Keep in mind that in relative terms, Star Lord is a new-ish character. He's only had sporadic appearances between the 70s and 2007. 3 years isn't really enough to make anything "iconic", it was just cool.
I don't mind the new redesign either, McNiven did a great job with everybody, specially Gamora. I was so tired of her fighting battles in a bikini, its so hard to take seriously.

I'm not crazy about the Marvel NOW costume, but it looks good since its LEGO.

Since they are doing an Asgard DLC pack with the movie looks (Malekith in the game is comic book based, while the one in the DLC is based on the movie look. Same with Thor, I think) maybe they will be doing DLC packs for all of the MCU films and we'll see Star Lord with his mask from the movie.....

I love the NOW costumes for all the Guardians, and this one looks mighty fine. Can't wait to play as Rocket, god dammit!
