Harold “Hal” Jordan already had the reputation as the most courageous test pilot alive when he was selected by a dying alien to take his place in an international peacekeeping force, Green Lantern Corps, agents of The Guardians of the Universe. When he accepted the alien’s ring and battery of power, Hal Jordan became a Green Lantern. With a ring whose powers are limited only by one’s imagination and willpower, Green Lantern defends both our world and space sector 2814.

The Green Lantern belongs to the Green Lantern Corps and is a founding member of the Justice League of America. One of many Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan frequently teams up with other Corps and JLA members to shine his light and battle the darkness of evil and chaos. Not only Green Lantern, but also The Flash! But I'm concerned. It says that PS3 will have it but 360 isn't mentioned.

Unfortunately DCUO is only for PC and PS3... With it being a Sony product, there's no way they'll share with Microsoft :o(

Unfortunately this was revealed 2 months ago on Myspace, lol.

Yeah, it's not a surprise, the Green Lantern wallpaper has been up for months, but Sony Online Entertainment just issued a press release today with the info above (which is different from what they released on their MySpace page).

BTW, the most recent character announced was The Green Arrow. They haven't really been releasing tons of stuff for the game, but that's probably because they're still in the Alpha stage (based on the conversations I had with them at the San Diego Comic Con).

Yet another reason to own a PS3!!! Why anyone would buy a 360 when the PS3 is so much better I dont know!

This game looks awesome though but after playing Uncharted 2, Im not sure that any game will ever top that!!!

the only reason i got a ps3 is for this game apart from that it sits under my tv gathering dust. marvel were gonna release a marvel version of this but microsoft cancelled it. xbox still rocks more though.

@BmanHall - I hate it when they don't reciprocate!

I like the PS3, but I have to admit that other than watching Blu-ray, it just sits there... I have a couple of great games for it (Resistance 2, Killzone 2, etc), but just haven't been able to get into them... All of my friends have Xbox and we're into the multiplayer aspects.

I'm going to make it a point to beat all the games I have on it, as well as Uncharted 2, over the next month... Then I can compare apples to apples :o)

Nathan: Im suprised by that - theres been so many times that Ive considered getting a 360 but I just cans see any games on the system that makes it essential when compared to the PS3! Having to pay for going online and no blu ray has always put me off as well!

X-box has a more games I agree with you on that. Killzone is the truth, and if you dont have it pick it up for the Vs, Naruto Ultimate ninja storm. Even if you not a fan, the game play and graphics are CARZY!

Also Ps3 has a nice line up coming out with FF Versus and White knight, I hear the have a Mega man in the works as well as MAG. To bad X-box keeps getting games like Tekken but if i was a publisher I would do the same, seeing as there are more x-box owners. But i wouldn't count Sony out, I know that have some good game on the list. I cant wait for FF versus. And I hope the rumors are true about a FF7 extension on events after Advent Children with Cloud and the crew.

They have trophies, but it's sorta the same thing. I don't think all PS3 games have them though.

Geekautomaton Yeah, they're called trophies! Not all games have them but every game released from the beginning of this year do - many older games have also had patches released so they have trophies (Star Wars, GTA IV, Tomb Raider) You should definitely get a PS3 - its a much better system IMO!

i don't know guys. i think the only leg up that ps3 has on 360 is the fact that ps3 doesn't get the red ring of death. i could completely understand having a ps3 when everyone i've ever talked to or read about has had the red ring at least once. i've had a 360 since the day it came out and i've gotten the ring 4 times. other than that the 360 is superior in my opinion.

xbox live totally kills playstation network in every way, so i don't mind paying the cheap ass price for it. i like the controller better. the interface isn't just thrown at you in a bunch of confusing lists that you have to search through every time you want to change a setting. no ps3 games are 1080p, while most 360 games are. i just love my 360.

and this is coming from someone who has both. i used to have wii, but i sold that piece of junk after only having it a year. i hate that thing.

and oh yeah, i hate that this is an MMO and you can't play as any of the DC characters. thats so lame. i'll play Champions online instead. at least you aren't teased with characters you love, but can't use.

The way to settle any dispute between PS3 and Xbox 360 is to get both. This way you can get all the kick ass exclusive PS games and all the exclusive 360 games. Then whichever you like best, by the multi-console games. That's what I plan to do. There is too much cool crap for me to remain bias toward either system.

CorndogBurglar: How is the 360's online servce better than PS3!?! On PS3 you have HOME, VidZone (with thousands of free music videos), you can download TV shows and movies, an internet browser, you can download updates for games and the PS3 as well as access online features of blu-ray all for FREE! Plus, in a few months there's going to be thousands of online digital comic books! How does 360 beat that!?!!

i prefer my PS3 because it actually works.
dont get me wrong when the xbox is working i quite like it,so using both suits me just fine.
for me the biggest difference is the users,xbox users annoy the sh!t out of me with their elitist attitude,then if you go online you have to deal with said elitist assholes being whiney little pr!cks.
so im glad this is PS3 exclusive :P
