The Resident Evil: Retribution Panel at Wondercon has just wrapped up, and it included some good information by director Paul W.S. Anderson and the star of the movie Milla Jovovich. And we got here the highlights with the best, including the description of a scene.
-Paul W.S. Anderson called the film "The biggest and the best 'Resident Evil'"
-The film begins directly from the end of the last one.
-A scene was showed there: "The clip has Alice in a long white corridor that goes as far as we can see. She's being pursued by a female zombie in a blue dress. Alice has a chain and uses against the girl as more zombies approach. She battles zombie after zombie with the chain and draws a gun. She's doing backflips and somersaults, shooting as she goes. She realizes that she ran out of bullets and needs to reload, but the zombies keep coming. One knocks the clip out of her hand and it goes flying into the air. She continues to beat the zombies with the gun while the clip falls. She catches it and reloads, but the zombies seem to be defeated. Suddenly, the woman in blue is back and something is moving through her throat. Her face breaks apart and she becomes a monster."
-Anderson says that the video games and the movies have a symbiotic relationship and feed off each other.
-"This movie is very much the beginning of the end," he says of the franchise continuing, "It very much sets up a finale."
