J.J Abrams sadly or fortunately for some fans won't return for STAR TREK due to film STAR WARS EPISODE 7. But that doesn't mean he has left the franchise completely. As we all know a couple of months ago STAR TREK:THE VIDEOGAME was released with a negative perception among fans and game reviewers in general. J.J had to say the following about the game ''The last game, which was obviously a big disappointment to me, was something that we were actually involved in at the very beginning...and then we sort of realized that it was not going in a place that we were going to get what we wanted. So we dropped out and they continued to do it despite…y'know." Abrams is hoping to see adaptations of any kind existing ''on it's own terms''

Additionally Abrams is also involved in a couple of projects with Valve such as a Portal and Half-Life. Also Abrams has pitched an idea to Valve for a game idea that he has.

What say you folks!? Is Abrams right about the Star Trek game and what do you think of Abrams handling Portal and Half-Life live action films!?Sound off in the comments below.

Never played it. I tend not to play games based on movies, they all the suck. With the exception of a few.

I enjoyed the first Star Trek reboot, but the more I read about Abrams' attitude the more I think Star Wars is f*cked.

I know how you feel JJ, that's my reaction to the "new" Trek and most of your movies. I can't wait to see my other childhood dream violated when you take care of Star Wars.

@Squilla Go watch Episode 1 & 2, and THEN tell me that your childhood dream will be violated.

After you're done watching, JJ Abrams Star Wars will probably seem like therapy.
