Max Payne is one of the most iconic video games of the last twenty years. Its rich story, immersive gameplay and unique characters elevated it to a legendary status and propelled a very solid trilogy. So to the gaming community, Max Payne is viewed as a hero.
But to the movie community, The 2008 adaptation directed by John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, A Good Day to Die Hard), is seen as a sick joke. Though it is much better made than most video game adaptations, it should still serve as a shining example of how to not adapt a video game to the big screen. Full Review Below:
