This new "Leap of Faith" clip from Assassin's Creed provides a look at what will surely be one of the stand-out action set pieces in the movie.

As Aguilar de Nerha (Michael Fassbender) deftly avoids his enemies in a rooftop chase back in 15th Century Spain, we switch to his ancestor Callum Lynch, who is getting to grips with The Animus with a little help from Dr. Sophia Rikkin (Marion Cotillard).

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin's Creed also stars Jeremy Irons, Michael K. Williams, and Brendan Gleeson. The movie opens in theaters on December 21st.

I dont like how his perspective shifts between the animus and the past. It looks odd here but maybe it works better within the context of the film.

Neat, but these clips out of context aren't helping much in the way of doing the movie favors. Without establishing the present timeline first, the visual/filming style of the past looks strange. It feels too modern for the setting. But, it's just a clip. It can only flow better in context.
