looks like they're somewhat going back to their roots, the characters looks how we expect them to look, and fight as we expect them to fight, and of course REAL FATALITIES are back! they seem to have added some sort of Marvel vs. Capcom-esque assist system, which will likely piss me off just as much as it does in MVC, but if thats the only new lame ass thing they're trying, I can deal with that. Scorpion is noticeably absent from this trailer, which leads me to wonder how many characters, and who in particular will be appearing, cluttering of the entire roster is what ruined both the last videogame, and the last movie, so lets hope they don't make that mistake

Is it just me, or does it appear that they're re-making the first 3 games? Rayden seems quite young, as he did in the cut scenes in Shaolin Monks, and we have Kung Lao, Mileena, Baraka, Johnny Cage, as well as levels like The Pit and Shao Kahns Arena... How good would it be if it was the storyline of the first 3 games but all schmick!!! God I hope thats what they're doing!!! Would also explain why it's just called "Mortal Kombat"...
