There is a question that most of the fans of the videogame that is about souls & swords are asking:will be ever made a Soul Calibur Movie?
Most of fans absolutely want a Soul Calibur Movie, but they know that if it will be a live action movie, seen the unsuccesses of the Tekken movie, the Dragonball movie, & the Legend of Chun-Li, something can twist the story of the game (for example, in the Tekken movie, Nina is allied with her sister & Kazuya, when in the videogame, she hates her sister & Kazuya, & Jin & Christie are related, & also, she has no relationships with Eddy Gordo , when in the videogame, she has no relationships with Jin, & also, she feels something for Eddy Gordo, or the Dragonball movie, Piccolo is the main antagonist, when, in the anime, he is a closer friend of Goku).
Considering all this factors, the fans of the Videogame, are absolutely contrariness to a live action movie about Soul Calibur.
Otherwise, they want an animated, or CGI movie, because they think that a CGI, or animated movie, will respect the story of the game.
The question is: will they be satisfied?

Video game movies especially fighting games have been
terrible in live action(besides Mortal kombat).So I'd
have to go animated are CGI as well they have a better
record of good over bad.

Little better

"Fans of the popular video game franchise Soul Calibur want answered two questions. Will the game be made into a movie someday and will it live up to expectations? Considering the lackluster success of previous video game/movie crossovers the easy answer is absolutely no. We do not need to look any further than Tekken, Dragonball, the Legend of Chun-Li, and of course Doom to derive the assumed answer. Liberties were taken with each movie that disturbed hardcore fans yet fans desire to see their favorite video game brought to the big screen. Regardless of the format, animated, CGI or live action, the key issue is to respect the story of the game. Is that too much to ask?"
