The First Fan Reactions From The ASSASSIN'S CREED Premiere Are Here - Does It Break The Video Game Film Curse?

Lucky fans, who had the opportunity to watch the movie at yesterday's New York screening, have started to share their reactions and there's a chance that Assassin's's Creed could be the first universally acclaimed film based on a video game! Not surprisingly, the show belongs to Michael Fassbender (who's also one of the producers) and his (apparently) amazing performance as Callum Lynch and his ancestor, Aguilar de Nerha. The other great thing fans seemed to appreciate is the director Justin Kurzel's faithfulness to the source material - but for people unfamiliar with the games series, this could be a potential problem.

We still have to wait for the full reviews (rumor says that embargo will be lifted one day before the movie releases)  but it sounds like 20th Century Fox in collaboration with New Regency and Ubisoft have delivered the goods. Check out some more fans reaction below.

Will you take a leap of faith and give the Assassin's Creed a chance? The movie releases on December 21, 2016.
