Video Game News Round-Up 9-4 to 9-10

This is my new article program allowing me to round up all video game news too small for an entire article. I will be counting sundays as of next week.





CALL OF DUTY
MODERN WARFARE 3's complete list of perks:
Perk 1:

Recon – enemies damaged by explosives appear on radar

Sleight of Hand – reload faster

Blind Eye – makes the player invisible to enemy air support

Extreme Conditioning – sprint for longer

Scavenger – pick up ammo off corpses

Perk 2:

Quick Draw – aim down sight quicker

Blast Shield – explosive protection

Hardline – get a killstreak one kill earlier

Assassin – undetectable to thermal radars

Overkill – carry two primary weapons

Perk 3:

Marksman – identify enemies from farther away

Stalker – move faster when aiming

SitRep – see enemy explosives

Steady Aim – increased hip-fire accuracy

Dead Silence​ – silent footsteps

An interview seems to indicate that camping will be tuned down as well:
“When we looked at that with MW3, we decided that we wanted to get the cool part of verticality and the cool kind of engagements, but we didin’t want to make it so complicated that anywhere you ran you were under fire or that there was danger from every single point.

“We wanted to determine what is it about the flow that is interesting and fun. If it is too simple, then it is just not interesting. If it is too complex, then it is not as fun.

“Having a map with good flow makes you feel comfortable moving through the map. If the flow is not good, people won’t move as much because they are paranoid of getting shot.”

BATTLEFIELD
A japanese poster indicates BATTLEFIELD 3 will be two-disc.
BATTLEFIELD 3'S Beta will be open to MEDAL OF HONOUR players 48 hours before anyone else.

BATTLEFIELD 3'S story will be told by memories of the main character(Black Op's anyone?)

BORDERLANDS
Some BORDERLANDS 2 gameplay has been revealed, showcasing new environments, guns, and increased variety.

HALO
343 Industries' Creative Director, Ryan Payton, has quit.

DEUS EX
DEUS EX:HUMAN REVOLUTION DLC has been announced, called THE MISSING LINK, bridging the gap for when Adam Jensen is missing for 3 days.


GENERAL
In a move sure to upset video game movie fans, Uwe Boll has announced he is making a new video game motion picture, adapted from the PC game ZOMBIE MASSACRE, a well-known rip-off of DOOM(facepalm).

THQ thinks the next gaming revolution will be disc-less, live-streaming video games, and will decrease the amount of money necessary for discs and disc drives, resulting in more money for the publisher, resulting in better games.
