Out August 28th on Steam and Xbox Live (a month later for Playstation Netowrk), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the first game by Activison as part of a new deal to create video games based off of the new series on Nickelodeon. In this developer gameplay video, Red Fly Studios' Chris Fetchette takes you through the game.

From listening to the video it doesn't sound like the same voice actors from the new show. Surprising since its with Nickelodian. Is it just me or does it seem like whenever they do a TMNT game that they always try to make it like the classic arcade game? Don't get me wrong I love that game and this arcade game looks great but why not try something new that will make it a new classic for a new generation?

I'd like to see an open world Turtles game in the same vein as Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series. That would be so cool.

But this still looks pretty great. I'm definitely gonna pick it up.

I'm still hoping for this on Vita. My Ps3 doesn't have much memory left and I can't clean it up just yet.
