Tformers has been sent a copy of Transformers Prime: Season 1 (which releases March 6th on Blu-Ray/DVD), and they found a promo video for a video game based on the series (which recently entered its second season). The game is being aimed at a Fall 2012 release (coincidentally, fellow Transformers game Fall Of Cybertron is also being released this fall) for Nintendo DS, 3DS, and Wii. Activision and NowPro - who've previously worked on a slew of Bakugan games - are publishing and developing the game.

The official website for the game has been registered, but it currently isn't running and the link redirects to the official Hasbro website. Check back for the latest on the video game as we get closer to the Fall.

In the meantime, pick up the first season of Transformers: Prime on DVD/Blu-Ray on March 6th.
