Later this month, gamers will have the chance to encounter Barbara Gordon in Batman: Arkham Origins. Developers were coy about her involvement in the game a few months ago, but today we can confirm it. There's no word if she will don her Batgirl costume, but now you can see her before she became Oracle in the Arkham Universe.

Batman: Arkham Origins is available October 25.

Birds of Prey symbol and early into Batman's career could have only been one character.Still looks like it's going to be a fun game to play.

OK so it may just be me, but having Barbara in the game causes a problem for me. This game more then likely won't introduce sidekicks to batman, so her being involved, and walking causes a major time gap for me, yes I know there IS in fact a time gap between the games, having characters we all know go on to become important characters makes me want to see that happen,so unless they plan to for wb to keep making prequels to fill the gap between origins, and asylum while rocksteady works on sequels, as is the case here, then I just won't be satisfied with having that time gap between games...maybe they could do a prequel trilogy through WB to fill the gap, maybe they have already realized this problem, or as I previously stated, maybe it's just me, but the gap between games is going to absolutely kill me.

We know Robin is in the multiplayer portion of this game but we don't know if he's in the story part. I'd like to see Robin but I feel it's to early to intro Batgirl. If they make a sequel to Origins, then yea, I'd like to see Babs as Batgirl. Robin comes before Batgirl.

I think they said no Robin in the story. Batman is just learning how to fight crime. In the cartoon didn't Batgirl come before Robin?

I dunno about the cartoons but, in the comics Robin( Dick Grayson) comes in way before Batgirl. Also, Robin joins Batman within 3 years of Batman starting up. Batman isn't Batman without Robin and vice versa.
