N7 Day is set every year on the anniversary of the release of the original Mass Effect. BioWare usually celebrates this by having sales on merchandise and special content on Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. This year BioWare also released photos from the production of the next game in the highly anticipated series.

The pictures aren't too revealing but do give fans something to ogle before the game is eventually released. What do you think of the released photos?

But the main character died. Why would you continue it?

To all still moaning about the ending. They fixed that shit over a year ago. It was a free add-on that they didn't HAVE to give us at that. Plus the citadel dlc ensured its spot as a more than fitting final installment for a damn near flawless series.

New characters my ass! If the ending of ME3 was any good we wouldn't go thru this shit! It was as lazy as AC 3 ending but in epic scope. They build this massive storyline and just teabaged themselfs and shited on gamers.

Article: We got news today that Mass Effect 24 is in the works.

Fanperson: Mass Effect 3 had the worst ending ever. I wanted to punch someone. I am so done with this series.

This is fanperson logic in a nutshell. They fixed the ending, yet the complaints continue. Nothing satisfies you.

I've gotten used to (and over) the ending of Mass Effect 3, and IT'S BIOWARE, we all know they are going to create characters and stories that we are going to fall in love with.

Shepard died, but the people you united and spent hundreds of ours with are still alive.

I will be getting this game, it might not be on day one, but it will be bought.

That's different, the format of those games is all about passing the torch and living lives of ancestors. Who are already dead.

What made the Mass Effect games great was that Shepherd was the driving force in the universe. Your character had so much to do with how the story evolved. He was pivotal to the fate of the universe. It would be weird to be another character in that universe.

Besides how do they plan to continue it? Depending on the ending you choose, they pretty much wrote themselves into a corner as far as going forward.
