Delivering award-winning suspense, horror, action and audio, Dead Space 3 will send players on an exhilarating and hair-raising new adventure in the dead of winter 2013. After crash-landing on a hostile new planet known as Tau Volantis, hero Isaac Clarke discovers that this planet could be the key to ending the Necromorph infestation. In his violent hunt for answers, Isaac must battle subzero, icy conditions and deadly, highly-evolved enemies including all-new Necromorphs, gigantic boss creatures and even misguided zealot humans. Fortunately, Isaac is not alone. Players can choose to team-up with a friend anytime in the game with the fully integrated drop-in/drop-out co-op feature. Players that choose to take down the terror together will experience additional story details and gameplay mechanics only found when playing as the co-op character, Earthgov Sergeant John Carver.

Dead Space 3 will be available on February 5th, 2013 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

Grif, you ever played a Dead Space? There are no cinematics in game. No cut scenes (unless your dying horribly) So why would they release a trailer for it that does? The guy in the sunglasses standing over them and talking is as close to cinematic as you get. Live it up.

I loved Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 looks like it's going to be good! Yea, it looks like this one is more action but I believe this is still part survival horror.

Also, I recommend preordering through Amazon.

The only thing scary about this is 11 pieces of DLC on launch and microtransactions for a 60 dollar game.

@ChancellorCocnutDio Yea, I played the demo. It was more action but gameplay footage I've seen & past interviews show that there will be horror to it.

At least the consoles are getting RE: Revelations in May. Which I heard is scary.

Yea, I remember that game from last years VGA. I heard it is connected to the Metal Gear series.

Way too much emphasis on action, hope this isn't another franchise that EA [frick]s up.

Meh. This lost the whole "horror" feel.

@VIRILEMAN the coop is optional, if you dont want to play with someone else you dont have to and can play it alone it's not forced like other games, drop in drop coop is a good concept

The co-op is a cool concept but not suited to horror games imo, being alone with only a vain hope of even getting out alive is what makes survival horrors that much more scarier.

Resident Evil 6 took the action road as well, and that sucked really bad.

@HavocPrime the coop is optional, the game doesn't force you to play with someone else. If you want to play it alone you can do so, the other character isn't with you if you play by yourself

hope the Koop is fun!

co-op is optional. It's drop in/out. It's not even split screen. If you play single played, you won't have a partner with you like RE5. Plus if you play co-op on DS3, it's a new experience.

I cannot wait for this game.

I CANNOT.

I love the Dead Space franchise and now with the co-op option.. this is going to be frickin' amazing. Nothing like survival horror with a friend.

I also played the demo not too long ago and I was very satisfied. This is going to be a 100% IMMEDIATE PURCHASE! :D
