If you didn't know by now, a full HD-remake of Halo: Combat Evolved is coming to Xbox 360 in November.

Frank O'Connor at 343 Industries, who has taken the role of Halo developer since Bungie finished Halo Reach, sheds some light about where the remake will be taking gamers.

The armor abilities in the video, along with the other things, are part of the Halo Reach multiplayer, not the actual Halo Anniversary game itself. The campaign is the same coding as the original with only new graphics, that's it.

as much as i love halo the remake doesn't actually look that much better from the videos i've seen. I'm still going to buy it though....

Excuse me @GreenGobbie, but he clearly plays a Combat Evolved map, with an armor ability. Watch the video again

Excuse me @Fartman, but that is a Combat Evolved multiplayer map that has been remade for the Halo Reach multiplayer. No armor abilities in the story mode.

Excuse me @Fartman, I know what I am talking about. I have been following this game for months, almost reading every interview, watching every preview, etc. What you see with the armor ability is part of the old maps remade, and remastered to play on the Halo Reach game. You can still access the Reach MP through the Anniversary disc, just like how ODST had two disc for the campaign and for the Halo 3 multiplayer. Except this time the campaign for CE Anniversary and the Reach MP (with new maps) are on one disc, so you don't have to swap discs.
