With only weeks until Injustice: Gods Among Us comes out, one of the biggest questions is will we be able to play as Martian Manhunter. Will we finally have the answer. Will we be able to play as everybody's favorite cookie eating Martian or will he be left on the sidelines? Click to check out.

One of the biggest mysteries of Injustice: Gods Among Us is whether or not we will see Martian Manhunter in the game or not. After all Martian Manhunter is a big fan favorite and one of the founding members of the Justice League. With 2 slots left, people have been wondering if we will see Martian Manhunter. Well I did some research and I will tell you that Martian Manhunter will be playable.



In the past preview of the game that IGN had, they said there were 2 more characters that will be announced. There was a fight in the S.T.A.R Labs mode with Raven and Trigon. In the background was Martian Manhunter. Now as you can see Martian Manhunter is in his New 52 design. Remember that.



What you see about are the first 4 characters that will be in the DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Do you see the 3rd character with his arms folded? Remember that for a second.



Now you a photo of the New 52 figure Martian Manhunter figure. Now if you look at the photo of the 4 DLC characters and the Martian Manhunter photo, you will notice that the 3rd guy in the photo has fins in his arms like in the figure. Also the boots are very similar and the head is bald. Since they used the New 52 design for Martian Manhunter in the S.T.A.R Labs, and they 3rd character looks like the New 52 Martian Manhunter figure, it can be confirmed that Martian Manhunter will be in Injustice: Gods Among Us but as a DLC character. As a Martian Manhunter fan, I’m happy and disappointed. Disappointed that I have to pay to play as one of my favorite character but happy that he’s in the game and not forgotten about like how DC is trying to do with him in the New 52. It's my dream to write the Martian Manhunter movie that will never happen.

Why 3 of those characters look like they can be 3 different versions of Lex Luthor in a business suit?

Im sure he will be playable I think they just taking their there time to finish his powers up and I hope they have some really cool shape shifting powers in the game.

Hope the other 3 characters are characters with actual powers because it dont need another Bane, Solomon Grundy, or Doomsday character cause all those are pretty much the same.

Give me Fate, Black Manta, Beast Boy, Weather Wizard, Cold, Brainiac, Captain Atom, Circe, Atrocitus, Ra's, Canary, I'll even take Mister Terrific.

I hope there is an alternative Costume for Martian Manhunter. One that makes him look like he did in the past and not the new 52 version. That being said it is great to see him in the game.

I dont think they are using the actual sillouhouettes of the characters because they has the potential to actually give away who they really are.

If you bitch about it enough, they'll give it to you. People got the Arkham City skins, and, once Man of Steel is released, I'm sure the Man of Steel will get a skin too.

The 2 characters left to be confirmed are Killer Frost and Ares. They were leaked. I do think that MMH will be one of the 4 DLC characters, though.

I always said Weather Wizard would be a good character for a fighting game. He ca control the weather. Rain, Hail, Snow, Wind, Lightning, he can have so many moves and combos it would be insanely good. Give him that new 52 design cause it is 100% better than his other costumes and he would be good.

For those saying 'Oh he doesn't have his cape, or loincloth!11!1!!!', NRS always photoshops out overly noticeable characteristics. They did so with the Freddy Krueger silhouette for MK9.

Also, the other three figures are just pictures of NRS' producer Hector Sanchez in different poses, i.e. placeholders for unannounced DLC characters.

No doubt the 3rd guy is MM. The boots DO match! And if they included the cape, it would defeat the purpose of a silhouette- it'd all be blacked out. The rest of them seem like generic placeholders, however they do look like Luthor (or Alfred). Hawkgirl is in the comic, so perhaps her. They do seem like they are trying to increase the female character count.

It will be awesome to see him as a playable character but a shame that he won't be a part of the main storyline.
At least, that's how it is in Mortal Kombat. DLC characters never show up to fight during the main mission.
