When it was confirmed that the Joker would be in Batman: Arkham Origins, some fans on here weren't happen for some reason which seemed odd and dumb. Me? I was happy that the Clown was back and now we find out he's just as deadly. With the game taking place on Christmas Eve, you know the Joker will have all sorts of gifts for Gotham.

One of those gifts is a set of explosives that are tied to a nearby building that go off. So where was Batman to stop the bombs? Well Batman was disarmed and stunned by what is said to be a more leaner and more true-to-the-comics Bane. Joker mocks and taunts Batman before setting off the bombs and Batman can do nothing but watch in the horror as an another landmark structure crumbles at the hands of a Joker.

This Batman, is described as being more primal, more vicious -- his fighting style raw and unrefined. Just as his enemies are younger and more vibrant, so is Batman. If you look at his suit, you will see that it resembles the Christopher Nolan’s films than anything we’ve seen in previous games. But despite all of these mostly thematic changes, much of what Batman: Arkham Origins is built upon is very, very familiar.

Warner wouldn’t confirm just how significant of a role Joker will have in the game, so it remains to be seen if there’s more to Origins than a lesser known mobster with a grudge. What are your thoughts about the Joker & Bane joining forces to cause chaos and destruction to Gotham and Batman? Comment below. Peace and remember,

The events of Arkham Origins are set several years before Batman: Arkham Asylum, in the middle of winter in fictional Gotham City. Batman is an experienced crime-fighter, but has not yet become the veteran superhero portrayed in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. He remains a mysterious force with even the police unsure if he is a vigilante, a myth or supernatural. Batman has battled with normal criminals and gangsters and is used to being stronger and faster than his targets, but on a snowy Christmas eve he is confronted with far more dangerous enemies: super villains tasked with killing Batman. The sadistic and brutal Black Mask has placed a bounty on the superhero, and Batman must discover why the villain harbors a deep hatred for him

I mean to me it's cool and all I don't mind seeing some form of earlier outings between bats and the Joker. However he's been used in all the games so I think it's best to keep his role strong and brief. I love the Joker but I mean you can't have the guy be the mastermind behind everything...right? lol

Any who I was over on IGN the other day and we were all coming up with possible characters they should use for the sequel to Arkham City.

So here's a list of new characters we all agreed on appearing within the next Arkham game for next gen consoles (if they make it)

-Nightwing
-Azrael
-Hush
-Anarky
-Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
-Scarface/Mr.Ventriloquist
-Maxie Zeus
-Man Bat
-Firefly
-Red Hood (only if it actually makes sense with the story, a possible nod to the League of Assassins)

i am fine with this...yes i agree joker shouldnt be the main bad guy in all the games...but isnt black mask the main bad guy in this game??...plus this is before n taking place before the recent batman games so all the bad guys r young n strong which i am fine by....i would love to see bane break the batman in this game...make them fight...let batman win as u fight bane..then once the fight is over...it will roll to a scene where they r still fighting n bane breaks him...that wud be cool
but i know it wont happen

i was hoping for killer croc!...i want to FIGHT!! killer croc..not run away from him...the first batman game i was scared when i was in his cave n being chased by him lol but i think they shud really let us fight killer croc...if not in this game...hopefully in the sequel to arkham city!

I hope Bane has totally new look and he is smarter than last time.
Give him full mask which covers his eyes and mouth and make him little faster and agile.

@TheBlackWolverine

There will be a sequel to Arkham City for next gen consoles, otherwise Rocksteady would have been one's tasked with this game, Arkham Origins is a filler game for games to bide time before it comes out, whilst they(Rocksteady) focus on the next game which will be on Next Gen consoles.

I said it before and i'll say it again, the only reason its a prequel and not a sequel is to keep Joker alive.

Hopefully they go with a Knightfall costumed Bane to go with the time the game is set in, instead of the huge brute with no brains. and between the time of Origins and Asylum is when the Knightfall saga takes place. Maybe Rocksteady and WB Montreal could even switch every two years to have games in development for 4 years between.
