Ed Boon has been known to tease and leave hints about Mortal Kombat via his twitter. The past few days he has been dropping hints at a new character, we now know who this character is.

Thats right folks, Mortal Kombat X is coming April 14, 2015. If you pre-order Mortal Kombat X, you will be able to play as the multi-armed dragon Goro. This free DLC does not seem to have any console exclusivity. In the past multiple retailers used alternate costumes as pre-order incentives. It is unknown if any exclusive DLC is in the making.

I wish the gaming industry, and specifically these types of games, didn't involve one's enjoyment to be matched by how much he was willing to pay for a DLC, and rather have them be by just having the fun of unlocking them, in-game.

But hey, it's just an idea, Boon.

Love the graphics and the game play looks like Injustice.

The online fighting tournaments are fun to watch, but other than that? Meh. But still, seeing the combos drops by some "pros" is really impressive.

Used to think your stick skills were epic on the Street Fighter 2 quarter machines back in the day? You ain't seen nothin

I don't like the stiff animations of Netherrealm games, but the UMvC3 action is WAY too fast for me, lol

I guess I'm just too old :(

@ AsgardianHobo

I agree I would rather watch my sons battle it out when they play Injustice then actually playing it myself.

I am also starting to hate the DLC market as well. One of my favorite games right now is Plants vs Zombies Garden Warefare and I am shocked that all their DLCs are free, well at least for now.

@JoeMomma

Right?!?!

Just pop open a beer and watch them scream at each other while you critique their form. 100x more entertaining than spending crazy amounts of hours to learn how to play one character.

@ Jollem

GameStop is a joke to say the least, that place is setup up to scam little kids and their mothers into selling them good used games for nothing!

Yeah when I used to go to Gamestop in the past and stand in line and I would fill sad for little kids getting raped so hard. I would rather buy my games from Wal Mart or Target, heck at least Target gives you a $5.00 gift card on all preorders.

@Chloe

Okay, call it statutory rape then. They are taking advantage of minors, who might consent, into making deals that they do not understand.

@ Chloefornication

I disagree, these are young kids and mom who know nothing on how much their games or equipment is worth. Yes it is consensual but one party is being fooled and taken advantage of. Granted a parent or an adult can take the time and do some research, but a young child who is desperate to get a new game is doing the transaction off the cuff.
