Even though Young Justice is now over on Cartoon Network, the official video game tie-in, Young Justice: Legacy, which bridges the gap between the two great seasons has finally revealed their awesome boxart for the game!

Revealed via the official facebook page for Young Justice: Legacy, below is the official boxart for the video game that will ship September 10th 2013. The game is currently expected to hit Microsoft X360, Sony PS3, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii-U, and PC on Steam. In Young Justice: Legacy, players can play as 12 heroes (Nightwing, Superboy, Aqualad, Artemis, Miss Martian, Kid Flash, Robin, Rocket, Tempest, Zatanna, Beast Boy, and Batgirl.) as they fight through a story that bridges the gap between the first 2 seasons of the show with the tag line One will rise. One will fall. One will die. The game is developed by Little Orbit. What do you think of the boxart?

The cover is thoughtless. They should have Flash or Martian Manhunter at the top instead of Aquaman.

It also looks like the cover of one of the YJ comic books...

I hope this doesnt hurt sales! I will still buy it

@JaketheSuperguy, although it was never revealed in the TV series, Kyle Rayner was a member of Young Justice for a while and John Stewart was his mentor.

I agree that it looks like the art from the comic books. The Green Lantern issue is probably because at the time they were making this game, GL was still on air as well as YJ; probably meant to use that familiarity. I'll be happy to play this game and get some more YJ story; everyone should check out the comics too, there's some good stuff in there even if it does aim for a slightly younger demographic than the show itself.

@PsyBoy No worries man, didn't get what you were saying, and yeah, I know what you mean, does look pretty cheap and licensed game-y if that makes sense. It should do well though, it's being released after Man of Steel so kids will be hyped up by anything resembling Superman and if those terrible Wii minigame collections with their awful artwork can well thousands of copies I see no reason why this shouldn't

The game has been in development for a while and WB had nothing to do with canceling the show, they had the 3rd season already setup to go but CN canceled it.

I hope this does well to show WB they made a big mistake in canceling the show. I know the company making the game said if this does well WB has allowed them to make another game which would have used the story of season three from Young Justice. So I hope it sells really well. Because I want to know what happens with Darkseid.
