The dimly lit Arklay mansion of the 2002 remake remains a critical and fan favorite thanks in part to its atmospheric, detailed pre-rendered CG environments. The improved image quality of this edition, seen here in
screenshot comparison form, the 5.1 surround sound, and 16:9 aspect ratio presentation should make it that much easier for modern gamers to enjoy the survival horror grand daddy.
