Greetings CBMers, well with the New Year we've had such reveals as Bane and Lex Luthor. Well, while this isn't exactly a confirmation or reveal, it is but a tease by Mr. Ed Boon himself about some possible new additions to the ever expanding roster of characters for Injustice Gods Among Us! Check it out...




Take a look at the desktop image to the left side of the image. We see folders with the titles- Penguin, MMHunter and DLC...

So CBMers what are your thoughts on these possible additions?



I'm actually quite interested to see how Penguin turns out! Admittedly I wanted to see him make an appearance in the Nolan trilogy...since that never quite panned out, I'd be more than excited to see Ed Boon's take on O'l Cobblepot!

Cool and I'm glad Nolan didn't do Penguin, it wouldn't of been Penguin and after Rises, glad the trilogy is finished and no cough Robin spin off : D

Ahhh still hold BEGINS and TDK close to my heart.

Looking forward to seeing Batman in Justice League and after!

Well remember Boon did say a lot of characters would be showing up in the game but not all of them will be playable. I can see Martian Manhunter being a playable character but definitely not Penguin.

penguin has to be the worst character ever invented. id rather they use crazy quilt or magpie hahaha

Penguin is a surprise. Perhaps he will be a quirky DLC character. The kind you use a few times for the novelty then realize it sucks.
The MM is a no-brainer. He must be part of this game's initial character roster.
If he's the next one to be revealed, I'm predicting two more in the initial line-up. Both, should be villians. My guess:
Black Manta
Cheetah

Actually, I was just looking at MK 9's initial roster, and it included 24 characters before story unlocks and DLCs.
If we get four more characters in addition to Black Manta and Cheetah, I'm hoping for:
Braniac
Dr. Fate
Odin

I can't wait for this game, I really hope the Story-Line is awesome since fighting games can get very repetitive very fast. Any word on what the storyline is going to be about?
