EA Canada is developing an open-world Star Wars game for next-gen consoles. A job listing, discovered by Kotaku, states, "EA Canada is looking for an experienced Animation director to help define and deliver on the vision for a major new next gen open world action game."

Two other executive producer position listings may indicate a collaborative process between EA Canada in Vancouver, and Visceral Games in Redwood Shores. EA revealed earlier this year via more job posts that Visceral was working on a next-gen Star Wars project. More recently, it claimed it would be making Star Wars games for the next 10 years.

Battlefield developer DICE, meanwhile, is working on a to-be-revealed next-gen version of Star Wars: Battlefront. We've contacted EA for comment.
What do you guys think would you want this open world Star Wars video game or Star Wars 1313?Or Both?
