Hey CBM

Came across a story that surprised me and will propably surprise a few on here

According to fortune website and Sales from NPD, Warner bros interactive games is currently the top publisher for 2015.

They are dominating video games this year in a similar way to universal dominating cinema

WB interactive entertainment have 3 of the 10 biggest hits this year.

Mortal Kombat x  and Batman Arkham knight are two of the biggest selling video games this year, but they have also had really good hits too with lego Jurassic world  and lego Jurassic world



Mortal Kombat x is the top selling game in 2015 so far (also the comics are a great read too)

Batman Akrham knight is not too far behind and carries on the freakish success of the dark Knight in all media.

also Warner Bros interactive entertainment collabarated with Projekt red for the witcher 3, another big seller

With the DC cinematic universe really going into effect next year. it looks like they have another string to add to their bow.  If they can get their Cinematic universe right next year they will have a clean sweep in all areas, from animation to tv shows to video games, comic books and then movies.

whats really good is that 3 of their biggest sellers this year are comic book properties (mortal kombat, batman and Mad max)

Its worth noting that marvel has picked up on this and will indeed be partnering with WB for the lego avengers game in january 2016 ( Dc only and marvel only fan boys take note)

what do you all think of this news? Have you picked up anyof the games this year, do you think WB will be able to hang on to the top spot for the rest of the year?

MKX is the top selling game this year? WOW! I guess that makes sense considering that MK9 was fantastic.

@Ramiel lol why bring that up? Unless you do really feel the need to say that marvel is selling tons of shit comic due to the MCU and not because they are any good.

I love WBG they make some pretty great games and havent really failed in any game other than the PC port of arkham knight i am playing mad max right now and i love it

"Clean sweep" meaning that WB is dominating all forms of entertainment including comic sales.

Not a fan of Mortal Kombat, my son loves it. I'm waiting for Batman price to drop. Can't wait for Rainbow Six.
