WB Register Various ARKHAM ASYLUM Domain Names

Is it possible that Warner Bros. have some type of movie plans for the most famous madhouse in comics? These domain names may have been registered for another game of course, but there's always a chance it has something to do with the upcoming Batman reboot..

As I said, this might be something, might be nothing, but we've learned to keep an eye on domain name registers. Remember a while back when Fox purchased the Days Of Future Past one? Nobody paid much attention, and we know how that turned out! Anyway, this is a bit less likely to yield movie results, as we know there will almost certainly be another Arkham Asylum video game at some point, and most of these names sound very like something that would be used as a title. So yeah, nothing really shouts "movie title" does it? But they're snapping these domains up for something. If the next series of Bat-flicks were to be inspired by the Arkham Asylum video games, how would that go down with you guys?

These titles are a bit odd. I don't think this sounds like a film title or the title for a sequel to Arkham City.

I could go for arkham stories, make it a prequel and show how everyone ended up there leading up to the start of the arkham asylum game.

The games are brilliant! Arkham Origins seems to follow the rumors most naturally, but Arkham Universe might be the most logical step for title evolution.

I'd love to see the bat-reboot follow the games! An animated series would be great, too.

Certainly for the games. And of all those titles, Batman: Arkham Knight and Batman: Arkham Legends are the best, to me. They sound really great. Unless it's an MMORPG (which shouldn't happen, anyway), Batman: Arkham Universe must NOT be the title of the new game. Wasn't that also the title featured in Joker's speech in an Awards event roughly a year ago? Well, I've always been against it since then.

The hints in Arkham City suggest an all out war is about to unfold so the scale is gonna keep getting bigger. I would vote for Arkham Universe or Arkham Knight (or Night), depending on where the story goes. Man I just can't wait for it. I still play Arkham City all the time it's such a good game

I'd much rather this be for a new batman game than a movie. We all know a new batman movie is inevitable, but a new batman solo game isn't certain.

It it's a new Arkham game, then Arkham Universe is the logical choice. I wonder how big the game's map will span though, I figured it'd just span all of Gotham City as opposed to a closed off part. "Arkham Knight" would be a decent name too, seeing as Universe kind of makes it seem like you'll end up seeing space and the Justice League. And they shouldn't go with the superprision storyline again, I think they should do some kind of loose adaptation to No Man's Land

It's def. a game though Ror it would be seriously awesome if they made a movie solely about Arkham Asylum. A dark spin-off movie that showed the horrors of the facility and why these criminals did not rehabilitate.

yeah given the rumors about the game i would say these are most definitely for that. the rumors were that they wanted to use batman's early encounters with the joker as well as other characters from the DC universe. these seem to suggest those rumors are true. an announcement should be eminent.

Arkham Origins or Arkham Legends are my favs

Yeah I'm changing to either Arkham Knight or Arkham Legends. I just hope it's not a prequel and they can keep the same voice actors for Bats, Catwoman, and Riddler

Arkham Universe and Arkham Legends aren't terrible titles to start off with. This is more likely a game which I have been waiting for for a long time!. Maybe an E3 2013 announcement?

this is devastating news. it is undeniable that he made these games as solid as they are. it would be extremely foolish of them to not bring him back.

that said, i too feel these are titles for a game and not a film. that never even entered my mind, and im not sure how 'ror' could think film over game. seriously, wtf?

this is great news, but at the same time very worrisome if dini is not brought back. i don't know wtf they could be thinking to proceed without him.

Arkham Universe will be the third game in the Arkham Franchise. Hopefully it will involve other DC characters. I always wanted to find a Superman easter egg in Arkham City.

Would be a great idea to bring Green Lantern, Superman and those guys into the very popular Batman games to prepare some people for seeing them together in Justice league.

They said they're next game was a Justice League one. Arkham Universe could make sense for that. Various Leagers all over the place dealing with crazies.

I'm really hoping it's for a game, the title is Batman: Arkham Universe, and a free roam Gotham City with a multiplayer universe where you can create your own sidekick or something like that. Like a Batman styled DCU.

I really want a free roaming game for Batman because Arkham City was extremely awesome but one of my complaints was that the world wasn't that big. I want a Spider-Man 2 style Batman game in the Arkham universe. Red Hood should be the villain also.

-Hush will be the main I'm sure from the tease in AC

@Scabsallover - Man Bat would be cool too especially at how good te character design in the games are they sould bmake him terrifying. Hush or Red Hood should be the main villains with some of the other villains coming back with the ones you listed also. I also think it would be cool if they had other superhero cameos.
