Sentinel, Trask, Toad, Havok & Stryker On 5 X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Empire Covers
There will be twenty-five X-Men: Days of Future Past Empire magazine covers. Update! Come see 5 new Empire covers: the 1973 Sentinel, Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), Toad (Evan Jonigkeit), William Stryker (Josh Helman) and Havok (Lucas Till).
Alright, Bryan Singer has revealed that he and the cast of his upcoming comic book movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past will be revealing a new specialty cover of Empire magazine - all day, every hour. The Sentinel cover (below) is the first of what will be 25 new Empire covers. Sentinels made their comic book debut in 1965, X-Men #14.
The Sentinels are powerful robots created by Trask industries specifically to hunt down - and if it comes to it, to kill - mutants. That obviously puts them at odds with the X-Men, and in a dark future ruled by the Sentinels Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart ) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) team up to send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time to avert their rise. The only problem is that he'll have to convince the younger Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) to help him.
