With X-Men 2 looming--May 2, true believers--and that bizarro X-Men 1.5 double-dip DVD now on shelves, we decided to check in with an insider. That "insider" may be a bad guy, Brian Cox, the flick's villainous General William Stryker, but he's got the goods:
So, Brian, hello, and where's the movie at? "Well, we're nearly done...I'm almost done. I'm actually redoing [dialogue]. We're doing the final bits and pieces, but we're virtually done."
Okay, is it any good? Come on, Bri--you can tell us! "I've seen a few little sequences...the trailer and a couple of sequences put together."
That all? "I think it's very impressive. I think it shows enormous style, has a great look and is a very good story."
All seems to be going swimmingly, right? Sure, the wave of solid trailers and great buzz continues, but hitting May 2 means it has two weeks to make a sack of cash before The Matrix Reloaded unloads on it.
