007 Halted Again?

Could it be we might have to wait a little while longer for Mr Bond?

According to movieweb & numerous sources on the internet Bond 23 has officially been put on hold due to MGM currently awaiting bids from other studios to assist in the production costs for the much anticipated return of 007. This means that we possibly MIGHT not see Daniel Craig's return in November of 2012 as previously promised by MGM.



While pre-production may have halted, the screenplay is still being written at this time. Peter Morgan, Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade are all currently collaborating on the first draft, though no story details have been released. Purvis and Wade who had previously collaborated on the screenplays for both 007 adventures Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
