The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.

I haven't seen the movie but the moment my parents told me they thought it was so boring that my mom wanted to leave the theater I knew I would never see it.
My parents like almost every movie btw

you know, for people who say these movies suck because they're adapted from Y/A Teen Novels, please remember you are on a COMIC BOOK movie site...comics aren't exactly made for adults. just sayin.

Yeah....this is not even close to being in the same league as Twilight. The Hunger Games is easily one of the best sci-fi franchises out there right now.

Oh god a flame war, welp anyway they should've left the first scene in the movie i thought it was brilliant to see her understanding the situation. Also regarding the whole "the hunger games is twilight" katniss has no interest in no one until the very end of Catching Fire who falls in love with Peeta, since they relate to each other mentally (isn't it obvious). There's no love triangle whats ever in the series, the series is not a love story: it's the story of a girl who relucantly becomes the symbol/leader of a revolution that's it.
