Actor Liam Hemsworth Joins The Cast Of The Expendables 2!

Liam Hemsworth is the latest name to join the cast of The Expendables 2. There's no word on his role yet, but he will be a surprisingly youthful addition to the cast of big action stars.

It was recently reported that big action starts Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris were confirmed on the cast of The Expendables 2, along with the news of Nicolas Cage and John Travolta might be joining the cast too.

Now Liam Hemsworth(The Hunger Games) the younger brother of The God Of Thunder, Chris Hemsworth, has joined the cast of the movie. So just like lately news said that the cast wouldn't have only big names but also fresh new faces.

No plot keys have been revealed yet, but Statham recently revealed that filming begins at the end of this month in Bulgaria.

With an already confirmed cast that includes Stallone himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture and Jason Statham, The Expendables 2 will be directed by Simon West (Con Air) and it is coming into theaters on August 17, 2012!

I think Stallone is quietly trying to usher in a new era of action stars. I think by having young men like Liam in the film he is undercover mentoring them just how to be an action star. I mean who better to do it than Stallone and the group of stars he has surrounding this film.
